Birth Month Floral Collection

This collection was inspired first by my son - He was born in July, and I wanted to create a small piece that could commemorate such a monumentous event. I enjoyed it so much that I decided I’d do them all. There are still a few more to be added, in typical Lyndsi fashion.

*All can be purchased as limited edition signed and numbered prints in my store.

The Friendliest Flower

These cheerful daisies are the flower for April babies! This piece was painted and embroidered while sitting by Birch Lake in interior Alaska.

My Heart

Larkspur, the birth flower for July and the first of the series I embroidered. Larkspur represents a strong bond of love, an open heart, an ardent attachment to someone.

Flanders Fields

“In Flanders fields the poppies blow between the crosses, row on row, that mark our place…” John McCrae

Along with being the birth month flower for August, poppies signify remembrance or consolation for loss, sleep, and even death. In Greek and Roman mythology, they were given as offerings to the dead. A truly unique and beautiful flower.
